It’s been a typical year of roster turnover for the Burlington Bees.
The Bees have had 22 position players and 28 pitchers on their roster at some point this season.
Three players have played in more than 100 games — infielder Kevin Maitan (116) and outfielders Francisco Del Valle and Nonie Williams (113 each).
Ten pitchers have thrown in 20 or more games, led by reliever Mayky Perez (30 games). Three have thrown more than 100 innings — Robinson Pina (104), Hector Yan (103) and Kyle Tyler (102 1/3).
A breakdown of the players on the roster who have been here the longest.
Position players
Jordyn Adams (97 games, 372 at bats) — The outfielder, the Los Angeles Angels’ first-round pick in the 2018 MLB draft, was promoted to the Angels’ High-A team at Inland Empire in the California League on Sunday. Adams was on pace for more than 100 games before a leg injury put him on the injured list from July 27-Aug. 16. Adams hit seven home runs, drove in 31 runs, and stole 12 bases in 17 attempts. Adams was batting .296 with a .980 OPS in August when he was promoted.
Francisco Del Valle (113 games, 377 at bats) — The outfielder leads the Bees with 26 doubles and is second on the team with 136 total bases. He has eight home runs and a team-high 48 RBIs, and is sixth in the Midwest League with 62 walks. Del Valle’s best month was in July, when he hit .301.
Connor Fitzsimons (80 games, 246 at bats) — Fitzsimons played mostly first base, but also spent time at designated hitter. Before he injured his arm coming in to pitch in the ninth inning of a game earlier this month, Fitzsimons hit .207 with 13 doubles and six home runs. He will close the season on the injured list.
Justin Jones (89 games, 291 at bats) — The infielder joined the team in early May and has been used everywhere in the infield. He has taken over at first base in Fitzsimons’ absence and has committed just one error in 22 games. Jones is batting .251 with nine home runs and 42 RBIs.
Kevin Maitan (116 games, 456 at bats) — The infielder, who has played third base and second base this season, rarely takes a day off. He leads the Bees with 100 hits and 155 total bases. He has 11 home runs and 45 RBIs. His fielding has improved considerably — he has committed 25 errors this season, compared to the 32 in 21 games last season. It’s hard to believe looking at him that he’s only 19 years old.
Livan Soto (57 games, 222 at bats) — The middle infielder suffered a severe ankle injury that had him on the IL from May 10-July 20. Soto is batting .234 with 18 RBIs. He can play shortstop and second base without any drop-off in fielding ability. Soto is only 19, so there’s a lot of time for him to continue his development.
Harrison Wenson (73 games, 240 at bats) — The catcher, in his second season with the Bees, leads the team with 12 home runs. He’s driven in 44 runs, and is tied for second on the team with 17 doubles. Wenson is batting .188, but has shown a lot of leadership on and off the field, and works well with the pitching staff.
Nonie Williams (113 games, 389 at bats) — The outfielder is one of the fastest players on the team, leading the Bees with 23 stolen bases. There is pop in the bat — he has 17 doubles and six home runs. Williams, who leads the Bees and is fifth in the league with 64 walks, is currently on a 15-game on-base streak.
Pitchers
Luis Alvarado (23 games, 16 starts, 92 2/3 innings) — Alvarado, a 17th-round pick last season, threw just 22 innings in the organization last season. He is 4-8 with a 3.69 earned run average, allowing 72 hits and 47 walks while striking out 99. Opponents are batting .217 against him.
Cole Duensing (23 games, 18 starts, 87 innings) — Duensing, who spent time on the injured list from July 29-Aug. 12, is 6-6 with a 4.97 ERA, quite an improvement over last season, when he was 0-10 with a 10.32 ERA at Orem. He’s allowed 80 hits, walked 60, and struck out 83.
Mayky Perez (30 games, 0 starts, 45 2/3 innings) — Perez, a right-hander, has been used exclusively as a reliever. He’s 1-5 with a 5.91 ERA, and has five saves in eight opportunities. He has allowed 43 hits and 26 walks while striking out 52.
Robinson Pina (25 games, 20 starts, 104 innings) — Pina has been sharp all season. He is tied for second in the league with 139 strikeouts, and opponents are batting just .211 against him. He has allowed 81 hits.
Jose Soriano (15 games, 13 starts, 70 innings) — Soriano was on the IL from July 14-August 22, but came back and struck out five in three innings against Wisconsin. Soriano, one of the top pitching prospects with the Angels, has allowed just 49 hits while striking out 77, and opponents are batting just .202 against him.
Kyle Tyler (21 games, 16 starts, 102 1/3 innings) — Tyler, promoted to Inland Empire on Aug. 14, went 7-1 with a 2.64 ERA with the Bees. The right-hander allowed 72 hits and 35 walks while striking out 87. Opponents batted just .196 against him. Since going to Inland Empire, he is 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA, and has struck out 11 in 8 2/3 innings.
Hector Yan (24 games, 20 starts, 103 innings) — Yan, a left-hander, leads the Midwest League with 142 strikeouts, and opponents are batting .198 against him. He’s 4-5 with a 3.58 ERA, and has allowed 74 hits and 49 walks.

THE WEEK AHEAD
• Clinton (Wednesday-Friday, 6:30 p.m.) — After closing a four-game series with Beloit on Monday and Tuesday, the Bees finish the home portion of the 2019 schedule with three games against the LumberKings, who are in second place in the Western Division second-half standings and only a game off the lead. The season series is tied at 7.
• At Kane County (6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. Monday) — The Bees close the regular season with three games against the division-leading Cougars. The season series is tied at 8.
